第30回 from University of Oregon

Hello, I'm Mako Inaba. I am studying abroad at University of Oregon.
One month has already passed since I came here. Last week, I struggled to pass mid-term exam.
It had been raining for the first couple of weeks, but now summer is almost coming!!

Eugene is famous as track town and the birthplace of jogging. University of Oregon has hosted the last two USA Olympic trails. and the 2016 trails will once again be held in here.
Eugene marathon was  held on April 28th. There were so many people that I had never seen in Eugene.

Also, many people cheered up runners. It was so fun to cheer up my friends.

UO football team, Ducks, is so popular.
An intrasquad game was held at Autzen stadium. I saw lots of students wearing ducks T-shurts and talking about the game.

I am looking forward to watching the football game!!

This is the door of my room.  I live in here with American girl.
It is already 9 pm, so I'm going to relax in my room.

では、see you later~~

From University of Montana (Spring Break!!)

How have you been?

This is Taku from University of Montana.

The post this time is about SPRING BREAK!!

Alright! Let's go!

During the spring break, I went for the roadtrip with 3 Japanese except me, 1 Swiss, 1 French, and 1 Pakistani!!

I didnt grab the handle at all thorough the trip though.

OK!!!

On the first day of the trip, we were heading to Salt Lake City.

But we did almost nothing there other than seeing Salt Lake in the morning next day.

Well,,, we got there late at night.

But at least I got to see Salt Lake! Hell yeahhh,,, fuckin'right,,,,,,(DRAKE)

OK! From the 2nd day onward, Im not really sure on what day I got to each place.

So, just pardon me cutting to refer to the days.

Then, we got headed for Arches National Park!!

We walked/climbed approx 30 minutes to get to see this arch.

On the way was way beautiful!

Next is Grand Canyon as most of you may know!!

Because this was like the edge and around it was like diving to die, I was pretty scared of blowing wind toward meeee!

But I got nothing to describe the view. I could never imagine me standing there and seeing it.

From what a Japanse guy said right there, "Anything including me as a human being, conflicts going on even now or thought we have can such a tiny thing in front of this view."

He could've been a poet. J????????????????????????

It was amazing anyways!

Next is Las Vegas!!!!!!!

But we stayed there only a night and left at noon. Besides, we got there late at night.

Yeah. We did almost nothing other than roaming 'round. We were so classy though ;)

and I found the VEGAS FREE WiFi there lol

We went to La Jolla in San Diego also. There was a beautiful beach that I cant see here in Montana.

I got so excited then and I felt so happy with seeing many parts here in the USA.

Oh. They are just sleepin

Downtown was also awesome!

Two places left are San Francisco and Los Angeles!

Can you guys what I though is the best thing in LA?

LA:):):):)'

We went to Fisherman's Wharf, Venis beach,,,,,,in San Francisco and got Fish and Chips and Clam Chowder :)))))

Yeah! Thats it! Thanks for reading!!!

Here is the link to the video for the part of the roadtrip!

第28回 from California State University, San Bernardino

Hey you guys! How do you do? I'm MIU YANAI from CSUSB(California State University, San Bernardino). It has been one month since I came here. I always wear short-pants, a T-shirt and a pear of sandals because it is about 30 ℃ everyday day, so I am getting sunburnt often. Anyways, CSUSB is inconvenient even though I am able to buy some foods. But I am starting to like here because my roommates have taught me the rhythm of living here and I have joined many fun school events. Now I'll introduce a part of my American life.

 Overview
1. Two Chinese
2. OUTDOORS
3.INTERNATIONAL NIGHT 2013

Well, let's move on the
1. Two Chinese .
My housing has four rooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen and one living room. My roommates consist of one Japanese girl and two Chinese girls. Their names are Yuka, Emily and Pauline. Yuka and I came here at the same time so we didn't know where should we go to buy stuff. When I am not sure of what to buy, Emily and Pauline hold a roommate meeting. Then they took us to the cheapest grocery store and one dollar shop around CSUSB by bus. I feel that they are kindhearted.

2. OUTDOORS
CSUSB Recreational and Sports Center has many kinds of group outings in the spring. For example they are called, San Francisco Adventure, Yosemite Camping and Hot Spring Hike. So far I've been to the So Cal Surf  group outing. I went to oceanside beach located in San Diego. It took one hour and a half by bus from San Bernardino. There were crazy big waves and very fine weather. I enjoyed surfing and bodyboarding.

3.INTERNATIONAL NIGHT 2013
Center for International Studies and Programs held the international night 2013. This event showed the cultural sports or dancing from places like Asia and South America. It was exciting.

Ballet Folklorico

Taekwondo

Did you guys understand why I like CSUSB? I will stay 8 more months. I'm gonna go snorkeling and to LA next month. When I find interesting things, I'll post them here next time. Then, see you later!!
